We are the Girls Report team. We are dedicated feminists, human rights activists, creative thinkers, hard workers and gender equality specialists who are in charge of creating the global ‘State of the World’s Girls’ Report.
Plan is a child-centred community development organisation with no religious and political affiliations, empowering girls and boys, their families and communities in the poorest countries to break the cycle of poverty and live to their full potential.
Opinions expressed here though are not necessarily those of the management! They are ours – individually and jointly – as we argue, agree and argue again.
Between us we span 4 countries and several decades and have now spent the best part of 6 years producing 5 reports which we hope will draw attention to the situation of girls worldwide and have an impact on their lives for the better.
